The Maverick County Hospital District would like to congratulate The Eagle Pass Babe Ruth League 14 U Baseball Team for winning the West Regional Tournament and being crowned Champions on Sunday, July 21, 2019.
The Eagle Pass team defeated the Del Rio, Tx. Baseball team on Friday, July 18 by a score of 6 to 1.
The team then played Wharton Tx. On Saturday and won by a score of 10 to 0.
The Team moved on to the championship game and waited for the winners of the Del Rio and Wharton game.
Eagle Pass faced Wharton on Sunday and were able to defeat them by a score of 10 to 0.
The Eagle Pass team was crowned Texas West regional Babe Ruth champions in front of their home crowd.
They will now move on in tournament play.
