Not only is Manrique Fuentes a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, but he is also the Director of Diabetes Self-Management MCHD and is a native of Eagle Pass, Texas. He graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 2003 and continued his education at the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Mr. Fuentes completed his dietetic internship through the Texas WIC Program and received his registered dietitian certification and licensed dietitian certificate. Manrique also has a certificate in adult and pediatric weight management. He has provided medical nutrition therapy at different entities in Eagle Pass and specializes in diabetes self-management.
Mr. Fuentes has a strong desire to help the people of our community and looks forward to counseling children and adults of all ages. Please come and see Mr. Fuentes for assistance with your nutritional needs on the second floor of the Maverick County Hospital District Building.
