MCHD Spotlight – April 2020 – Primary Care

During these tough times, Maverick County Hospital District’s Primary Care Clinic continues providing essential services to our local residents. As we continue to work alongside the local, state, and federal government to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to let our community know that our organization continues its mission to bring safety and health to our families.

Our Primary Care Services Group is taking an active role to help combat the spread of COVID-19 by bringing updated information from national organizations that focus on identifying symptoms of exposure, suggested actions, and recommendations on how to maintain and improve one’s health during these difficult times. Patients can also schedule Telemedicine appointments with one of our Primary Care Services Group physicians.

“Our Primary Care Services Group is dedicated to servicing our community during this time of need,” stated Eric M. Rodriguez, MCHD Clinic Director. “They continue to be in the frontline of this pandemic and are committed to the health and safety of our community.”

“We thank our Primary Care Services Group for an extraordinary job during these hard times,” commented Alma Martinez, Maverick County Hospital District Chief Executive Officer. “They continue to excel by providing our families with health services, rapidly responding to suspected and confirmed cases, working with officials to adapt to new regulations, and bringing useful information that helps maximize our prevention.”
