Dr. Carlos H. Orces received his medical degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago, Guayaquil, Ecuador, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Subsequently, he completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Luis Gutierrez-Perry, M.D.

Dr. Luis Gutierrez-Perry received his medical degree from University of Monterrey Faculty of Medicine, and completed his General Surgery Residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. Subsequently, he completed his Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Texas Heart institute in Houston Texas.
Dr. Gutierrez-Perry is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General and Vascular Surgery.
Alfonso Treviño-Aguirre, M.D.
Dr. Alfonso Aguirre-Trevino received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, and completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Subsequently, he completed his Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at the Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Aguirre-Trevino is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery.
Praveen K. Thangada, M.D.
Dr. Praveen K. Thangada received his medical degree in Alabama University, and he completed his Neurology Residency at Mobile, Alabama. Subsequently, he completed his Neuromuscular Disorders fellowship in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Thangada is Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Cesar Tula received his medical degree in Cordoba, Argentina, He completed his Internal Medicine training in New York City. Subsequently, he completed his fellowships in both Hematology and Oncology at the University of Louisville, Kentucky and at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Andres O. Soriano, M.D.

Dr. Soriano received his medical degree in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Forest Park Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. Subsequently, he completed his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Susan Taylor, M.D.
Dr. Susan Taylor received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Paul Hospital also in Dallas. She then completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UCLA University Hospitals, Bowyer Multidisciplinary Cancer Center in Los Angeles, California. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in Research Oncology at the National Cancer Institute,National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Taylor is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
James J. Galizia, M.D.
Dr. James J. Galizia, a Cardiologist, has his medical practice at MCHD, Suite 270. He is a 1982 graduate of the New York Medical College in Brooklyn. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Columbia University in New York, New York. He did an Internal Medicine residency at the New York Medical College followed by a Cardiology residency at Yale University Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut. His post-graduate residency was done in Cardiology at the University of Southern California Medical School.

Dr. Gloria G. Box, Orthopedic Surgeon.
Dr. Gloria G. Box is a graduate of UT Southwest School and completed her orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Box has been in practice for 17 years specializing in general orthopedic surgery with a special interest in joint replacement.
Dr. Zandra Perez-Cadena, D.O., Board Certified Endocrinologist
Her interests include diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, parathyroid disorders, osteoporosis, bone metabolic disorders, vitamin D deficiency, lipid disorders, and hormonal disorders.
Dr. Perez-Cadena will be consulting once a month at the Physician Specialty Group beginning August 5, 2013.
