Neurologist Dr. Praveen Thangada works with Maverick County Hospital District in providing specialty services in the treatment of nervous system disorders.
Dr. Thangada treats disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, such as: cerebrovascular disease, strokes, multiple sclerosis, headache disorders, infections of the brain and peripheral nervous system, movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), epilepsy, spinal cord disorders, and speech and language disorders.
Dr. Thangada has over 30 years of experience in the field of neurological disorders and diseases. During his long medical career, he has assisted thousands of patients with issues related to the anatomy, functions, and organic disorders of nerves and the nervous system.
Dr. Thangada can assist you in the diagnosing, monitoring, and treatment of any neurological disease / disorder. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He is affiliated with Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Gonzales Healthcare Systems, and Christus Santa Rosa Health Care and the Maverick County Hospital District.
His education and training spans over three decades of continued progress. He graduated from Kakatiya Medical College, Ntr University of Health Sciences and completed his residency and internship at the University of South Alabama.
