Hilda De Leon, PA-C, is a native of Eagle Pass, Texas and currently specializes in Family Medicine for the Maverick County Hospital District. The youngest of 6 siblings (all girls), Hilda is known as a caring, patient-centered, and enthusiastic member of our organization. She graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 1993, and continued her education at Texas A&M University, graduating in 1997. Ms. Hilda completed her Physician’s Assistant degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2001. She is also Nationally Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant – a Certification Program that continues to be required and maintained by constant study and testing for the span of a PA’s career, assuring that the PA’s at MCHD are well-trained and up-to-date with current standards of care for patients of all ages and illnesses. Hilda is well-known for her laugh, smile, animated sense of humor, and for being an attentive listener. Among her many achievements, Hilda proudly served as a professor at the UTHSCSA Physician Assistant Program, and served as President of the Mid-Level Providers Association of Southwest Texas. Mrs. De Leon has been happily married to her husband Julio for eight years, and is the proud mother of her seven-year old daughter Yaretzi.
