National Nurses Week

Maverick County Hospital District celebrates National Nurses Week from May 6 – 12, bringing special attention to the importance of the work of nurses in our community and around the country.

MCHD Chief Executive Officer Alma Martinez, the Board of Trustees, and Administration applaud and thank these heroes for caring for our community’s ill ever single day.

“During the following week, we celebrate National Nurses’ Week. Now more than ever, we would like to thank all the brave men and women keeping our communities safe as we continue fighting the COVID-19 pandemic,” states Martinez. “Our medical care professionals fighting in the frontline are heroes who continue to keep their oath and help those of us who fall ill or are in need of medical assistance. We are grateful for everything you do.”

Let us all recognize the work these men and women perform on a daily basis and their commitment to the health of the families in our community.

“Our organization and our entire community thanks you for your contributions to the health and well-being of our citizens,” concluded Martinez.
