Ms. Isela Segura, PA-C
Physician Assistant – Family Medicine
Ms. Isela Segura is a Physician Assistant-Certified (P-AC) who works with the Maverick County Hospital District Primary Care Department.
Ms. Segura is part of a team of medical professionals who provide services to our patients at the newly opened Primary Clinic service area at our Medical facility. Ms. Segura is a native of Eagle Pass, Texas and graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 1994. She continued her studies at Southwest Texas Junior College and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Care Sciences and a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2013 from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She has over 20 years of medical experience working in Family and Internal Medicine.
During her medical career she has had many roles including working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Office Manager and now continues to pursue her love of patient care by working as a Physician Assistant at Maverick County Hospital District’s newly formed Family Primary Care Clinic. Miss Segura is also Nationally Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant — a Certification Program that continues to be required and maintained by constant study and testing for the span of a PA’s career, assuring that the PA’s at MCHD are well-trained and up-to-date with current standards of care for patients of all ages and illnesses. She is proud of her family’s ancestry which has roots in Allende, Coahuila. She has 9 nieces and nephews, 2 siblings, and two very proud parents. She is newly engaged and is excited to continue to provide quality care to the patients of her beloved community.
