The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Saturday, August 3, 2019, in which they interviewed two finalists for the Maverick County Hospital District Chief Executive Officer position.
After interviewing Judith Canales and acting Maverick County Hospital District Administrator Alma Martinez the Board proceeded to choose a lone finalist for the position in open session.
Once Back in open session the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees opened up the agenda item and Board President Jesus Casas asked if anyone had a recommendation.
Maverick County Hospital District Board Secretary Aaron Valdez motioned to hire Alma Martinez as CEO. The motion was seconded by long time trustee Juan Manuel Farias.
A motion was put up for a vote and approved unanimously.
The Board of Trustees welcomed Mrs. Martinez as the Maverick County Hospital District’s Chief Executive Officer.
