Covid-19 Vaccine in Eagle Pass, Texas
Maverick County Hospital District – MCHD – is currently offering Covid-19 vaccines in Eagle Pass, Texas, available without appointment necessary. We are currently administering two types of Covid-19 vaccines in Maverick County – Moderna and Janssen.
The Covid-19 Moderna vaccine is recommended for people of ages 18 years and older. If you have had a severe allergic reaction any ingredient in an mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, you should not get an mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. If you had a severe or immediate allergic reaction after getting the first dose of an mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, you should not get a second dose of either of the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech).
The Covid-19 Janssen vaccine administered in Maverick County is authorized to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 in individuals 18 years of age and older. It is administered as a single-dose vaccine.
