Maverick County Hospital District – MCHD – is administering free coronavirus vaccines to the citizens of Eagle Pass, Texas. One of these is the Moderna coronavirus vaccine, a 2-dose vaccine which is set to be administered 28 days apart. Maverick County Hospital District’s vaccines are available with no appointment necessary.

Maverick County Hospital District – MCHD – is also administering the coronavirus Johnson & Johnson, or Janssen, vaccine to residents in Eagle Pass. The coronavirus Janssen vaccine, as opposed to the Moderna vaccine, is a single-dose vaccine. Maverick County Hospital District’s coronavirus Janssen vaccines are also available for free and with no appointment necessary.

Free Coronavirus Vaccine in Eagle Pass, Texas

Maverick County Hospital District – MCHD – is currently offering free vaccines in Eagle Pass, Texas. The two vaccines offered are the Moderna and Janssen vaccines.

The free coronavirus Moderna vaccine is for individuals of ages 18 years and older. If you have had a severe allergic reaction any ingredient in an mRNA coronavirus vaccine, you should not get an mRNA coronavirus vaccine. The mRNA coronavirus vaccines include Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech.

The Covid-19 Janssen vaccine administered in Maverick County is authorized to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 in individuals 18 years of age and older. It is administered as a single-dose vaccine.
